The World's Renewed Colors, Golden Glow of Dusk - Yu Chu-chu (余筑筑) Solo Exhibition

After retiring upon completing 101 years of public service, to enrich my retirement life, I enrolled in Tsao-tun Community University. I studied Chinese painting under Teacher Hung Chun-cheng (洪春成) and Western painting under Teacher Lin Chin-ta (林進達), embarking on my own path of painting creation. During the process of learning and creating, I gradually discovered that art can convey inner emotions and record warm and sincere moments in life. Therefore, I often use the love between parent and child, love for animals, and the pure emotions between humans and animals as my creative themes, hoping to express through my brush the beauty of companionship and interdependence among living beings. Thus, I hope to convey my insights into life, nature, and all things through my paintings. My current retirement life is spent studying Buddhism, chanting Buddha's name, learning painting, painting, and volunteering, keeping my heart peaceful and joyful through learning and giving. This exhibition shares the oil paintings, Chinese paintings, and lacquer paintings I have learned and created over the past few years, hoping to convey warmth and goodwill through the artworks.
