"The Imperial Examination System in Taiwan: A Special Exhibition on Taiwanese Jinshi"

Through rich graphic and textual historical research, this exhibition focuses on the over two-hundred-year development of imperial examination culture in Taiwan since the Qing Dynasty, presenting the historical trajectories and era's splendor of 33 Taiwanese civil Jinshi. Through the deeds of Jinshi figures, the evolution of the imperial examination system, the spread of Confucianism, and the development of academy education, it explores their significant influence on Taiwan's education, culture, and social development, guiding the audience to understand the spirit and scholarly cultivation of Taiwan's traditional literati within the historical context.

This exhibition combines historical documents, reproduced ancient texts, imperial examination artifacts, calligraphy inscriptions, historical photographs, documentary charts, and contextual displays, paired with exhibition panel design and spatial installations to recreate the cultural atmosphere of the Qing Dynasty imperial examinations. It allows the audience to deeply understand the developmental process and cultural significance of Taiwan's imperial examination system through visual and spatial experiences.
