Take a Break let's dog

Glitch presents the ceramics brand @wecandancetogether solo exhibition "Take a Break let's dog" by Chen Hsi (陳曦). This exhibition is the artist's first solo exhibition after many years. Many people sort out their lives by writing diaries, but for Chen Hsi, ceramics is her form of life writing, using her hands to transform and enter life's feelings into clay, shaping them into the works seen in this exhibition.
The artist's daily life often involves long periods of secluded creation in the studio, so the daily moments of taking her dog (Hui-hui) for a walk become her rare break time. Walking into the park with Hui-hui is like entering another field as familiar and comfortable as a living room. Surrounded by big trees, people linger here, talk, share the joys and sorrows of life; birds and squirrels move freely, the surroundings full of vibrant vitality; the wind passes through the treetops, bringing the sound of rustling leaves, like music without a fixed melody, bird songs, sunlight, and grass... together they constitute the park's unique daily scenery, also allowing life here to naturally switch rhythms.
Putting down the big and small stones in one's heart, truly feeling oneself alive, the dog leads Chen Hsi out of the studio to feel the flow of life and connection with nature in the park. In this exhibition, Chen Hsi attempts to capture these fleeting, precious moments through ceramics, allowing the audience to feel the inspiration and scenery seen during dog walks.
Besides the thematic presentation of the exhibition, Chen Hsi also responds to Glitch's 4F Comic Warehouse this time, launching a series of book-flipping works, inviting you to come to Glitch during the exhibition period and stroll the park with Chen Hsi, experiencing the restful time brought by ceramics.
