Special Exhibition: "BOCH Art Inheritance" Craft Heritage & Art Student Exhibition

Date: 2026-01-01 — 2026-06-30 Organizer: 2025年重要傳統工藝結業藝生
To promote the achievements of the 2025 graduating art students in important traditional crafts, two thematic exhibitions have been specially curated for 2026, showcasing the power of traditional skills to continue being inherited and innovated within the pulse of the times.

January-March: "The Realm of Patterns and Forms" focuses on four Paiwan crafts: traditional embroidery, cut-and-paste decoration, embroidery, and traditional wood carving. It explores how Taiwanese traditional crafts use "patterns" to narrate history and carry ethnic memory, and use "forms" to manifest beliefs, life, and emotions. The exhibition presents how graduating art students continuously refine their skills under master-apprentice tutelage and attempt innovative expressions within a contemporary context, revitalizing traditional crafts with new life.

April-June: "The Flow of Four Crafts" focuses on four crafts: bamboo craft - basket-body lacquerware, temple statue decoration, tin craft, and bamboo/rattan weaving. It showcases the trajectory of how crafts flow and blend between history, faith, life, and nature. Through the joint presentation of graduating art students, this exhibition invites the audience to travel through time, exploring how crafts carry memory, pass on techniques, and are reinterpreted in modern times.
