[On-site Guided Tour] East-West Fusion: Huang Fei (黃飛) 70 Oil Painting Art Creation Exhibition (3 sessions)

The East-West Fusion oil painting embodies the results of Huang Fei's artistic education nurtured in Taiwan, merging Eastern spiritual content with technical breakthroughs. It demonstrates a technique of completing oil paintings in one go while integrating ink painting concepts, developing an expressive technique that flows as freely as ink painting. Besides the free-spirited quality akin to ink painting, it still retains the layered thickness, texture, and charm of oil painting colors.

This Taichung exhibition presents the results of 50 years of dedicated research in oil painting creation, with the stylistic evolution process as the main theme. It features the large-scale 1200-number work "Mountain Dwelling Years - Autumn Splendor" as a representative piece, promoting oil painting artworks that are entirely rooted in local soil, fully integrating the characteristics of Eastern and Western painting, and embodying the charm of Eastern aesthetics.
