"My Animal Best Friends" Yeh Man-ling (葉曼玲) Themed Picture Book Exhibition

Days with animal companions—
Playing together in lively moments, basking in the sun together in quiet times.
They tell you "I'm here" with a tail, an ear, or a gentle nudge.

From personal experience raising birds, to the adjustment between a newborn and a cat, to the loneliness of growing up and the companionship of a little snail, the stories from the painter's brush are sometimes gentle and lyrical, sometimes hilarious and humorous.

This exhibition brings together three works about animal best friends by picture book author Yeh Man-ling (葉曼玲), including selected original paintings from "Slowly and Me," "The New Little Monster," and "Little Cotton."

Through different mediums and the warmth of hand-drawn art, it leads the audience to glimpse how the author thinks and refines between text and image, allowing the stories to gradually take shape.
