That Burning House (失樂園)

From the director of Tears on Fire (火神的眼淚), TSAI Yin-Chuan (蔡銀娟), presents a grand offering with a stellar cast including Fan Shao-hsun (范少勳) and Tseng Ching-hua (曾敬驊).
Hsiao Chih-ho (蕭治和), a boy abandoned by his single mother at an orphanage when young, is bullied by other children with no one to turn to. A suspected dog-killing case opens the story of another orphanage, where social worker Tsai Jen-hsing (蔡仁興) tries hard to reform the children in the home but faces many setbacks. Meanwhile, YANG, who moves out of the orphanage at 18 to return to his impoverished hometown, faces immense survival difficulties. As their stories intertwine, each person must confront past traumas and decide whether to succumb to the darkness or strive again for a better future.
