Golden Horse Award-winning documentary director Yang Li-chou recreates the glorious days of "The Sapphire Show" (藍寶石大歌廳), the birthplace of Taiwan's showbiz culture and the most glamorous nightclub of the 1980s, delving into the legendary stories of superstars and behind-the-scenes heroes. From Chu Ko-liang (豬哥亮), Huang Hsi-tien (黃西田), Yu Tien (余天), Hu Kua (胡瓜), A-chi-tsai (阿吉仔), Kang Hung (康弘), and others, it documents the artists who shone on the Sapphire stage and the unsung heroes who supported the performances.
