Inner Light, Land of Wild Light: Light Gallery Joint Exhibition of Art Brut

The French artist Jean Dubuffet played a key role in the development of Art Brut. He coined the term "Art Brut," referring to a state of creation that is pure and unadorned by culture. This association has long been dedicated to promoting Art Brut, focusing on those special creators who exhibit powerful original energy. We believe social culture is pluralistic and coexistent, and Art Brut also possesses its own unique life texture. Even creators who are most difficult for the public to understand often draw inspiration from contemporary cultural information like books and media in their subconscious.

This exhibition is named "Wild Light," symbolizing these artists like beams of light shooting from obscure places, each shining brightly; the exhibition is the field where these countless lights intertwine and converge. The exhibited works span the emotional poles of "high spirits" and "low tides." They are not merely displayed but also guide viewers during the viewing process, through a path approaching the inner self, gradually entering the spiritual inner realm constructed by the artists and resonating deeply with the imagery.

In the contemporary era interwoven with technological torrents and rational anxiety, Art Brut, with its open vitality, transforms private sensory experiences into visible artistic vocabulary. This exhibition brings together 15 artists with vastly different styles, using their brushes to depict the pulse of their souls.
