Indigenous Art, Shared Voices – Taiwan Art and Culture Exchange Exhibition
When cultural voices meet, art becomes the beginning of exchange.
This year, the Indigenous Peoples Cultural Development Center (原文館) has partnered with the "Taiwan Art and Culture Exchange Association" to co-curate an exhibition. Through the convergence of different ethnic groups, mediums, and creative languages, it initiates a dialogue about land, culture, and the aesthetics of daily life.
This exhibition brings together multiple art creators, with displayed works encompassing diverse forms such as Indigenous art, wood carving, weaving, ceramics, and contemporary painting. From traditional crafts to contemporary creations, each piece is a trace of the ongoing dialogue between the creator and their culture.
The Indigenous Peoples Cultural Development Center also hopes that through this collaboration with the association, Indigenous cultures and Taiwan's diverse artistic energies can exchange and see each other. It is not just an exhibition of works, but a practice of cultural companionship and co-creation.
✦ Culture is not only preserved, but also continues to speak
This outreach exhibition is an important step for the Indigenous Peoples Cultural Development Center into public spaces, hoping to allow more people in the city to feel the warmth and power brought by Indigenous culture and artistic creation.
