Exquisite Wasting of Time — The Exquisite Daily Waste — Joint Exhibition by Da Jiun Arts × HAUSEKI

Da Jiun Arts (大雋藝術) will officially unveil a new exhibition, "Exquisite Wasting of Time," on May 16, 2026. This cross-border collaboration with Taichung furniture selection store HAUSEKI transforms the gallery space into a "Living Room Gallery" that blends classic design and contemporary art. Through HAUSEKI's unique aesthetic perspective and Da Jiun Arts' profound积淀, viewers are invited to step into a sensory journey about "home."

The core of this exhibition is Da Jiun Arts' first invitation to British contemporary artist Conor Murgatroyd to present seven new works. Murgatroyd excels at capturing surreal moments of everyday objects with enamel paint. The porcelain-like smooth texture and saturated colors in his paintings reflect the industrial lines of the classic furniture in the space, forming a cross-media sensory dialogue that infuses the space with rich life烟火气 and narrative depth.
In addition to Conor Murgatroyd's new works, creations by several artists collaborating with Da Jiun Arts will also be exhibited simultaneously. These works spanning eras and media intertwine with HAUSEKI's furniture and lighting to weave the space, collectively exploring how objects can break free from habitual placement in the home, allowing them to find the purest essence of life in the gaps of blankness.
