Chang Hsuan-hao (張軒皓) 'Reflection: Photography Exhibition'

I have been very interested in small animals since elementary school, especially social insects and soil scavengers, which is one of the reasons why I went to Costa Rica to study half a year ago. Photography has played a very important role in exploring these creatures. After obtaining my first second-hand camera, I began to study how to photograph the insects I kept or collected, with ants being the majority. However, in the days with a camera in hand, I gradually intersected with another essential aspect that photography as a medium can convey: artistry. It is a gaze projected from the inner world and the overlapping of countless images. 'Reflection: Photography Exhibition' will present forty works showing how the author developed 'me,' this person, around the two main axes of photography as a medium.
