Between Lens and the Everyday: The Objectology of Lin Cheng-che (林正哲) and Huang Chia-ning (黃嘉寧)

In this exhibition, Lin Cheng-che's "Refraction" and Huang Chia-ning's "Gaze" form a dynamic contrast. Lin leads us to see the complex drifting of light in space and the metaphors of identity symbols; Huang brings us back to the quiet essence of things. Together, the two artists testify that in an age dominated by virtual imagery, realistic painting remains an important sensory medium for understanding reality and positioning ourselves.
