Artistic Talents Soaring Together - Joint Exhibition by Members of the Taichung City Moyuan Yaji Painting Association
This association was founded by Lin Chin-chung (林進忠), former Vice President of National Taiwan University of Arts, and consists of renowned university professors and professional painters from Taiwan. They are usually engaged in teaching calligraphy and painting and continuously refine their creative skills. Their exquisite brush and ink techniques have garnered significant attention in the art world.
This exhibition, themed "Artistic Talents Soaring Together," features diverse subjects. Drawing inspiration from life within the context of traditional and modern innovative thinking, it expresses love for the land and meticulous observation of humanistic customs through brush and ink, fully showcasing individual styles and innovative thinking.
The primary creative media include ink wash, color ink, glue color, calligraphy, watercolor, and mixed media. Artists use rice paper, silk, and various other papers for creation, blending traditional techniques with modern compositional thinking. Between the shades of ink, the rhythm of lines, and the layers of color, they demonstrate the profound artistic conception of Eastern art and the spirit of contemporary aesthetics. The works' styles combine freehand expression and realism, preserving the cultural spirit of traditional calligraphy and painting while incorporating the innovative vocabulary of modern art, presenting a rich and diverse artistic landscape.
