In the early summer, the gentle guardians within the stone, embodying auspicious emotions and imagery. Stone sculpture artist Wu Te-ho will hold a special solo sculpture exhibition at the "Meng Chiao Art Gallery" (孟焦畫坊) in Shihlin, Taipei. This exhibition is not only a presentation of the essence of Teacher Wu Te-ho's over 40-year creative career, but also his deep-rooted dedication to art and his nostalgic longing and aspirations upon returning to his hometown.

Warmth Blossoming from Tradition: The "Aesthetics of Life" in Stone Sculpture Wu Te-ho's creative career spans tradition and modernity. His most acclaimed "Fu Lion Series" boldly breaks through the stereotypical solemn and majestic image of traditional temple stone lions. Under Wu Te-ho's masterful chisel, hard granite and bluestone are transformed into round, amiable guardians, blossoming and highlighting the warmth and harmony of family.

On site, besides the iconic Fu Lion works, figure sculptures and the "Chicken" (sounding like "home" in Taiwanese) sculpture series are also exhibited, presenting warm and endearing scenes through the artworks. Through the interplay of hardness, softness, void, and solidity of red granite and white jade stone, the works display ever-changing artistic conceptions. The flowing, rhythmic lines embody the highest realm of "life is art, art is life."
