This special exhibition takes "weaving" as its core imagery and is named "Returning." It contemplates how contemporary tribespeople engage in cultural practice through the knowledge embedded in objects, and how the Atayal Museum plays a bridging role in this process. It presents the museum's deep-rooted local engagement and the various achievements driven by its adherence to the four core museum functions: "collection, research, exhibition, and education."

For the first time, the exhibition screens documentary films featuring personal accounts from seven key figures in the museum's founding, members of local weaving associations, and museum staff. It aims to continue inspiring more possibilities for cultural inheritance and innovation.
