This exhibition gathers precious historical materials from the past century, including photographic works by Dr. Tsai Kun-huang (蔡坤煌) authorized by the first Tamsui District Chief, Tsai Yeh-wei (蔡葉偉), aiming to fully present Tamsui's cultural heritage. The special exhibition follows the threads of "port, river, mountain, transportation, city, and people," showcasing Tamsui's transformation and inheritance amidst the tides of time, presenting its unique character and water transport stories. You are invited to embark on this journey across time, savoring Tamsui's past and present.
In this cultural landmark blessed with stunning sunsets and river views, photographer Chen Chin-lung's (陳金隆) work "Joyful Tamsui: Corridor of Time" resonates with the joy of the library's reopening. The 5th-floor special exhibition space is not just a venue for displaying history but has become a cultural platform connecting the past and the present, witnessing Tamsui's remarkable transformation from a fishing village to a cultural hub.
Note: Closed on national holidays and library cleaning days.
