"The Bard Forgot to Tell the Story" Taipei Sea Gull Theatre (臺北海鷗劇場) | 2026 Children's Opera Festival

"The Bard Forgot to Tell the Story" originates from the improvisational elements of "live Taiwanese Opera" (歌仔做活戲), combined with the years of teaching experience in "creative drama" by director and playwright Sung Hou-kuan (宋厚寬), to further produce a children's opera work. Children will participate in co-creating the story and even perform on stage, making it a highly interactive piece. The actors have no fixed script; both adults and children will complete the bard's story through games, and everyone becomes a bard skilled at weaving tales.
