[New Taipei City Library Juifang Branch] June 2026 Reading Bookmark – "Love the Earth with Books: World Environment Day Book Selection"
📖Time: June 1 to June 30, 2026, during library opening hours.
📍Location: 2F Book Exhibition Area and Second Book Exhibition Area
Theme: "Love the Earth with Books: World Environment Day Book Selection"
Exhibition Introduction:
"Reading is not just about acquiring knowledge, it is the beginning of changing actions!" "A book is a seed of change; every time you choose a book, you are choosing the future we want."
In response to World Environment Day, the New Taipei City Library Juifang Branch will launch the "Love the Earth with Books: World Environment Day Book Selection" exhibition in June, guiding readers of all ages to focus on environmental issues.
The library is divided into two main exhibition areas:
🌸"Childlike Hearts (United Hearts) Protecting Our Homeland":
This area, in cooperation with the New Taipei City Environmental Protection Bureau, displays New Taipei City environmental education picture books and environmentally themed children's books. Through images, text, and stories, it inspires children to protect their hometown's land, aiming to jointly maintain environmental sustainability.
🌸"Sustainable Living Guide":
This area is mainly prepared for adult readers. Librarians have carefully selected books on plastic reduction, low-carbon diets, energy transition, circular economy, and minimalist living, allowing environmental protection to be implemented in daily expenses and choices.
It is hoped that through this book exhibition, readers will discover that actions to protect the Earth are not out of reach, but rather a more refined lifestyle that can be started with a simple gesture.
