Little Solitude, Moving On (小孤獨，行)｜Chien I-hung (簡翊洪)

Michael Ku Gallery (谷公館) is pleased to announce Chien I-hung's (簡翊洪) solo exhibition "Little Solitude, Moving On (小孤獨，行)," which is the second exhibition following the artist's previous show "Little Solitude, Dwelling (小孤獨，處)."

The previous exhibition "Little Solitude, Dwelling (小孤獨，處)" featured nearly two years of new works, with the title implying that the creator completed each piece while being alone. The current exhibition "Little Solitude, Moving On (小孤獨，行)" gathers 33 selected works from the past, spanning from 2010 to 2024, including works on paper and silk, long scrolls, thread-bound booklets, and a screen. Viewers will see the core of Chien I-hung's (簡翊洪) creative output over more than a decade, as well as the natural evolution of his painting process as his age, mindset, and technical challenges have changed. This is a path of continuous self-movement forward.
