【Da-Kai Theater Troupe】The Da-Kai Theater Troupe was founded in Taichung City in 1998. After founder Liu Chung-lun (劉仲倫) obtained a master's degree in drama education in the United States, he immediately returned to his hometown, Taichung City, and established a central Taiwan theater troupe dedicated to letting people in central Taiwan know, enjoy, and remember, open for everyone, with everyone as the stage. In 2021, founding member Cheng Jui-chiao (鄭芮蕎, Su Su) took over as the troupe leader. The troupe is based on community theater development, supplemented by professional theater training and performance, making it a modern drama group. In addition to continuously creating one modern play and one children's play each year, the troupe is also committed to promoting drama education and strives to develop interdisciplinary art integration, moving towards cross-troupe and cross-city performance exchanges to create a favorable development environment for cultural and artistic work in central Taiwan and to elevate the standard of arts and culture.

Adapted from "Sleeping Beauty" | Interactive Theater. Brand New Creation.
When fairy tales are no longer just about waiting to be saved, an adventure about courage, choice, and dreams is about to unfold.
Da-Kai Theater Troupe's brand new interactive parent-child theater work "The Sleeping Prince" overturns classic fairy tale imagination, allowing children to learn to express themselves, believe in their choices, and bravely pursue their dreams through laughter.
This play subverts traditional gender frameworks, transforming the princess into an active adventurer, challenging the stereotype of "waiting to be saved," and integrating children's rights and life education. The performance adopts an immersive interactive theater format, where parents and children can instantly dialogue with characters and participate in plot missions, becoming adventure partners in the story, making each performance unique.
