Craft Play & Gather: Children's Craft Inclusive Space
"Craft Play & Gather" centers on the five-sensory experience of craft, integrating playfulness, interactivity, and education to create the nation's first permanent space based on the concept of children's craft, transforming the traditional visiting model and allowing children to get close to craft through play and understand culture through interaction. The exhibition uses the works of craft master Yen Shui-long (顏水龍) as the starting point for craft education. Through experiential designs such as a mosaic magnetic wall, a weaving interactive wall, and plant-dyed soft building blocks, it guides children to operate with their hands, feel material characteristics, and cultivate concentration and imagination through exploration and creation. The exhibition space also develops towards visually impaired-friendly design. Through touchable, perceptible display forms, craft naturally integrates into daily life, becoming a warm and profound cultural force that accompanies children's growth.
