"Ashes × Cloud × Storyteller" (《灰燼×雲端×說書人》) Shen-sheng Theater × Taipei Storytellers Association (身聲劇場×台北曲藝團)｜2026 Opera Dreamworks

Wandering souls in the clouds, memories scattered in the ashes—all are picked up and pieced together by storytellers in the mortal world. Five-watch legs, fox spirits, a thousand-mile search for a husband but catching the wrong soul. Snatching the memories of stories, dismembering the remnants of stories—one after another, tales full of vivid sound and color veer toward absurdity yet approach reality. Shen-sheng Theater (身聲劇場) collaborates with the Taipei Storytellers Association (台北曲藝團) for the first time in this co-creation, blending modern theater with the traditional skills of "acting, music, dance, and speech" in narrative arts, using the rich storytelling techniques of the flesh to welcome the arrival of virtual intelligence.
