2026 Maoli Performing Arts Festival - Shop Fringe Series: 'The Misplaced Waltz'
"If you could start over, what would your life be like?"
At a transfer station between life and death, an opportunity for a "do-over" quietly opens. When life is allowed to return to a critical moment, how would you choose? To mend, to escape, or to face it honestly?
A three-person relationship X a two-person space X one waltz, the same melody repeated, the same finale.
Wang Chia-ming (王嘉明) tries to grasp the possibility of changing fate, yet faintly senses that some deviations have long existed within the everyday. Between love and habit, between desire and reality, every seemingly small decision may trigger irreversible consequences. Using rebirth as a premise, this work invites the audience to see their own choices and hesitations within the stories of others.

We express what we want to say through drama, and at the same time, the characters "言" and "成" combine to form "誠" (sincerity). We produce each play with sincerity, hoping the audience can enter the world we create together.
