World Reading Day Bilingual Workshop

In response to the annual World Reading Day and aligning with the 2030 bilingual nation policy, this library organizes bilingual workshops. We collaborate with Kaohsiung Municipal Library Story Master Peng Hsin-ying (彭馨瑩) and students from the Kaohsiung American School Zonta Club to perform English picture book storytelling with related activities at the library, leading children and adults to experience multiculturalism. We hope participants will utilize the library more after the event.
First Session: 5/9 (Saturday) 10:00~11:00
For World Reading Day and Mother's Day activities, this library collaborates with the Kaohsiung American School Zonta Club. American School students will perform bilingual picture book storytelling, spending a joyful holiday with children and adults.
Second Session: 5/16 (Saturday) 10:30-11:00
Kaohsiung Municipal Library Story Master Peng Hsin-ying (彭馨瑩) will perform picture book storytelling. The theme picture book: The Three Little Pigs. Through lively and interactive Chinese-English bilingual interpretation of classic fairy tales, she will guide children to think about the story from different perspectives.
