Saisiyat Tribe PaSta'ay Permanent Exhibition
"Located in the Chu Family Village Tribe ('ip'ipa'an bato') of Ta'ai Village, Wufeng Township, Hsinchu County, also known as the Flat Stone Tribe. The tribal language meaning is a place full of flat stones.
The exhibition displays utensils used in the daily life of the Saisiyat tribe. Apart from the utensils used in rituals, most other items lack excessive carving and decoration, primarily showcasing the natural colors of the plants themselves. However, there is a discernible logic in their techniques and meanings.
As this museum is connected to the PaSta'ay ritual ground, the permanent exhibition themes are all related to the PaSta'ay rituals. From ritual utensils, fishing and hunting tools to daily life implements, visitors are invited to carefully observe and discover their essence."
