Mountain Sentiment・Sea Rhythm - Lin Shih-pin (林世斌) Creative Solo Exhibition

Lin Shih-pin (林世斌), born in Taichung in 1972, holds a Ph.D. and a Master's in Art from National Taiwan Normal University and graduated from National Taichung Teachers College. He is currently a teacher at Changhua County Minsheng Elementary School. He has served as an assistant professor at Chienkuo Technology University and a lecturer at Ling Tung University of Science and Technology, and has been a judge and workshop lecturer for calligraphy and art multiple times. He has held 27 solo exhibitions and numerous joint exhibitions, publishing over thirty academic and art-related articles. He has long been dedicated to the fields of ink art and aesthetic education.

Taiwan is surrounded by sea, with verdant, layered mountains, diverse topography, and abundant species, nurturing rich natural landscapes. This solo exhibition, titled 'Mountain Sentiment. Sea Rhythm,' uses traditional ink painting as a foundation to further explore contemporary interpretation and experimentation. Through the interplay of brush, ink, and color, it attempts to seek a new appearance for contemporary landscape painting.
