Changhua City actively promotes religious culture. This hall commenced construction in February 2006 and was completed in April 2009, opening on April 25, 2010. It is a seven-story above-ground building, a public space combining cultural relics display, cultural exchange, and local tourism accommodation. It is equipped with a Mazu Cultural Relics Exhibition Room, multi-functional exhibition space, conference auditorium, and cozy guest rooms.
This hall primarily focuses on introducing the origin and history of the Mazu of Nanyao Temple (南瑤宮), preserving related cultural relics and historical materials, collecting related Mazu cultural relics, and exhibiting other cultural artworks. It is supplemented by integrating with Changhua City's tourism industry and hosting diverse cultural activities. The hall will prepare guest rooms to provide accommodation, becoming a new attraction for visiting the beautiful scenery and historical culture of Changhua City, and creating another new development opportunity for the revitalization of Changhua City's historical sites.
