[Fuzhong 15] Documentary Screening: "On the Way Home"

"On the Way Home" is a Taiwanese documentary directed by director Li Li-shao (李立劭), focusing on the military and civilian airports on both sides of Taoyuan's No. 5 Road, witnessing Taiwan's historical changes from the Japanese colonial period, Cold War-era Taiwan-U.S. cooperation, to the modern Aerotropolis project. Through the disappearance of air force bases, military dependents' villages, and schools, the film depicts the transformation of landscapes and memories under urban development. This screening is the Taiwan premiere and will feature a thematic lecture, suitable for audiences interested in Taiwan's modern history and social changes.
