Electri City III: Future Read

As an important city art museum in Southern Taiwan, the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts is dedicated to intervening in the transitional spaces between nature and the city through art. "Electri City III" uses the museum's 43-hectare outdoor park as its curatorial environment, responding to the unique site-specific charm of the museum. The park's rich green forests, lakeside, and ecological textures, through the intervention of artistic creation and deep integration with the landscape, expand the environmental art interpretation of open spaces.

Since 2019, Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) has promoted the "Electri City" public art project. From the first edition, "Invitation from the Land of Electricity," to the second edition, "Reality Terminal," it has created significant appeal in Central Park, translating electrical infrastructure into a romantic narrative language. This year, specially invited by the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, it has moved to North Kaohsiung, responding to the autonomy of urban open spaces and citizen participation, integrating artists' electrical fantasies into natural habitats. In a contemporary society dominated by data, it allows art to become a medium for people to resonate with the environment.
