Changhua Impressions – 30-Year Documentary Photography Exhibition of the Intertidal Zone
Hsu Lien-sung (許連松) grew up in a fishing village and loves natural scenery. In his spare time, he often goes to the seaside to欣赏落日美景.
In the 70th year of the Republic of China (1981), he bought his first camera and began recording through photography. Fishermen depend on the sea for their livelihood, laboring辛苦 on the sea year after year. For this body of work, the images have been re-photographed and processed. Many of the images were taken 30 to 40 years ago, and the people in the images are now centenarians. All the image records are真实面 of the fishermen who depended on the sea for their livelihood at that time. Most of the scenic spots in the works have already disappeared. It is hoped that exhibiting these works will leave everyone with美好回忆.
