Changhua Christian Hospital Historical Cultural Relics Exhibition

Date: 2026-01-01 — 2026-12-31 Organizer: 彰化基督教醫院
On November 29, 1896, the British Dr. David Landsborough (蘭大衛) and Reverend Campbell N. Moody (梅監霧) came together to Changhua. They selected the central region as their base for medical and missionary work. Since then, Changhua Christian Hospital has become the origin of Western medicine in central Taiwan. They brought Western medicine and technology, as well as Western education, civilization, and humanistic thought.
The Changhua Christian Hospital Historical Cultural Relics Museum is a living archive. Through the designed historical scenarios, artifact introductions, each image, and each artifact can tell the history and stories of Changhua Christian Hospital, reconstructing its humanistic history, finding exemplary figures of the Changhua Christian Hospital spirit, allowing this generation of Changhua Christian Hospital members to re-examine and decide our future ideas, values, and learn from experience by following the beautiful footsteps of our predecessors.
