"Changhua Ceramic Rhythms 20" 2026 Changhua County Ceramic Art Association Member Joint Exhibition

The Changhua County Ceramic Art Association was founded in 2006 (Year 95 of the Republic of China), taking as its mission the deep cultivation of the local area and the transmission of skills. This group of ceramic art cultivators from all corners of Changhua brings together traditional craftsmanship and modern artistic aesthetics, bringing ceramic art into public life and seeking cultural resonance in clay and fire.

The works in this exhibition cover various forming techniques such as hand-pinching, coiling, and wheel-throwing, combined with sculptural decoration and glaze expression. In firing, they further demonstrate oxidation, reduction, and the increasingly innovative wood-firing techniques of recent years—integrating clay, wood, fire, and ash to present the fusion of the creator's spirit and skill, carrying deep affection for the land and dialogue with tradition.

Each ceramic piece is an unknown trial. Only by enduring the test of fire, meticulously kneading the creator's emotions and sweat into it, can the clay, through alternating heat and cold, condense into the most moving crystallization of heartfelt effort.
