Atayal Indigenous Cultural Industry Zone 'Echoes of the Original Voice' Weekend Arts Performance: Shan Ren Zu Band Concert

Date: 2026-06-06 Organizer: 山人組樂團
The 2025 Miaoli County Indigenous Peoples Museum Weekend Arts Performance Series, themed 'Original Sounds Passed Down Through Generations,' symbolizes the historical continuity and inheritance of Indigenous peoples' music, dance, songs, and art.
"Original Sounds" refers to the pure and distinctive music and voices of Indigenous peoples, carrying the history, stories, and emotions of each ethnic group. These sounds are often intertwined with dance; the rhythm of the music guides the dance steps, and the cadence of the singing voices conveys emotion. Music and dance are like the twin wings of the soul, together depicting the vitality of life and harmony with nature. "Passed Down Through Generations" emphasizes the historical transmission of cultural essence and its cross-generational influence. Through these arts performances, the original sounds and dance blend, complementing each other to awaken respect for Indigenous culture and convey the soul and stories behind these precious sounds.
The Atayal Museum Weekend Arts Performance Series will feature five daily performances by street artists or performance groups from January 29th (Lunar New Year's Day) to February 2nd (the fifth day of the Lunar New Year). From February 15th to December 27th, Indigenous groups or bands will be invited to perform one session every Saturday from 14:20 to 15:00, totaling 45 sessions. From February 9th to December 28th, street artists will perform one session on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 10:00 to 12:00, totaling 22 sessions.
