2026 Kiss Miaobei: MUZIKids Picture Book Concert "The Wednesday Bakery" (2 Sessions)

Date: 2026-06-06 Organizer: 敘樂三重奏
MUZIKids × Global Kids for Children Picture Books × Narrative Trio
"The Wednesday Bakery" tells the story of Glasses Cat and Leaf Dog, who eagerly await the weekly opening of the bakery. However, after forgetting to bring money, they run back and forth on the apartment stairs. In the process, they unexpectedly help many neighbors and embark on a wonderful journey filled with warmth and kindness. With its lively rhythm and heartwarming plot, the story highlights the beautiful values of sharing and mutual assistance.
This performance is specially adapted for a live piano trio (piano, violin, cello) presented together with a storyteller. Selected classic classical music pieces are rearranged, allowing the melodies to transform into characters and scenes. Through vivid storytelling and live performance, the audience is led into a story world full of rhythm and imagination. Families are invited to experience the most intimate and fun side of classical music in an atmosphere interwoven with music and story.
The picture book is selected from the publication by Future Parenting / Global Kids for Children, "The Wednesday Bakery" by Chen I-chin (陳怡今).
