Atayal Indigenous Cultural Industry Area 'Echo of Indigenous Voices' Weekend Arts Performance: Chu Tai Band - Band Concert
To enrich the cultural content of the two indigenous cultural museums and attract public attention to the diversity of indigenous culture, while promoting the development of tourism and leisure industries, the Miaoli County Government has meticulously planned the 'Echo of Indigenous Voices' weekend arts performance series.
This year's arts performance series takes 'Echo of Indigenous Voices' as its theme. 'Indigenous Voices' represents the distinctive dance, music, and songs of the indigenous peoples that carry historical and cultural significance, while 'Echo' expresses the hope of promoting indigenous culture through arts performances to generate resonance. The character for 'echo' (迴) also carries the meaning of rotation and cycle, symbolizing the continuation and inheritance of indigenous music, dance, songs, and art.
The weekend arts performances at the Atayal Cultural Museum in Tai-an Township will run from February 7 to December 26, 2026, featuring performances by indigenous groups or bands every Saturday starting at 2:20 PM, totaling 46 performances. Additionally, from February 8 to December 27, 2026, street performers will be scheduled on the second and fourth Sundays of each month starting at 10:00 AM, totaling 24 performances. Furthermore, from February 17 (the first day of the Lunar New Year) to February 22 (the sixth day of the Lunar New Year), a group performance will be arranged each morning and afternoon daily. The overall event comprises 80 performances.
