Artistic Realms Transmitted: Joint Exhibition of Members of the Kung-yen Life Art Association
Since its establishment in 2008, the Kung-yen Life Art Association of Changhua County has adhered to the concept of "Truth, Goodness, and Beauty," bringing together art enthusiasts from all walks of life and dedicating itself to promoting "art in life, life in art." For the association members, creation is not just a display of skill but also a self-study process that refines one's character. Through the interweaving of brush tips and colors, they transform profound insights into life into moving works, making art no longer a distant, unattainable temple theory but an aesthetic of life that everyone can participate in and deeply root in daily life.
The members use art as a medium to explore the fusion of inner emotions and the external world, drawing inspiration from rich natural scenery and humanistic experiences. In the exhibited works, one can see members employing diverse media such as ink wash painting, calligraphy, and carving to showcase their deep understanding of life and pursuit of aesthetics.
The biggest highlight of this joint exhibition lies in the rich artistic forms that span tradition and modernity. The on-site works are diverse in form, encompassing ink wash paintings and wood carvings with profound depth, as well as contemporary aesthetic works like zentangle art, colored pencil drawings, oil paintings, and acrylic paintings. Whether it's the delicate concept of "all things have sentiment" conveyed in Chinese flower-and-bird paintings or the richly spiritual natural scenery in modern landscape ink and color paintings, each composition records the creator's attitude towards life and life's footprints. Particularly unique are the water-print woodcut works, which precisely carve mountain and water scenery onto wooden boards and then imprint them onto rice paper, showcasing a unique artistic conception and allowing visitors to appreciate the charming elegance displayed by different artistic media.
