"Along the River During the Qingming Festival · Sound" is a Chinese Orchestra concert inspired by the classic masterpiece painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival." The performance is led by the Miaoli County Chinese Orchestra under the baton of conductor Li Chun-ping (黎俊平), combining the artistry of dizi player Hou Kuang-yu (侯廣宇) and liuqin player Chen Yi-chien (陳怡蒨) to transform the painting's scenes of boats on the water, crowds on the bridge, and the hustle and bustle of the marketplace into flowing music. The audience will be able to step into the world of the painting through the sounds of the Chinese Orchestra's strings, winds, and percussion, hearing the rhythms of ancient life and the myriad facets of human society.
