65 Craft Festival: Craft Playground - 'Immersive Children's Light-Sensitive Art Garden' Craft Class on the Lawn (5 Sessions)
During the 2026 '65 Craft Festival,' a five-day 'Craft Playground' event is launched, inviting you to visit the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center to experience the diverse facets of craft in a more life-oriented way.
From outdoor lawns to indoor spaces, through the interplay of theater, stories, music, and hands-on activities, three main themes are planned: 'Outdoor Hands-on Theater,' 'Indoor Picture Book Music Stories,' and 'Craft Class on the Lawn.' This allows people of all ages to find their own suitable way to participate, gradually entering the rhythm of craft in various settings.
Let us step into these domains, between observation and participation, to leave behind our own moments and carry those firsthand experiences back into daily life.
Craft Class on the Lawn: 'Immersive Children's Light-Sensitive Art Garden'
Use light and color to build a garden you can walk into!
This is not just a simple hands-on class, but a 'space creation' completed together!
During the activity, children can freely collage various floral and leaf shapes, using light-transmitting materials to layer and build a garden belonging to everyone on a glass wall. As light shines through, the colors and patterns will continuously change, making the work not just a flat surface but a breathing space.
Every participant is an important part of this garden. From the first leaf to the entire wall being filled, children can see their own creations and feel the joy of collective completion.
Let's come together to let imagination bloom and build a unique light-sensitive garden!
Learn about the changes of light and shadow and color
Collage and composition with light-transmitting materials
Space interaction and collective creation
Complete a light-sensitive garden built together
Instructor: Teacher Huang Ming-chi from Little Law Base
Participant count: 15 people per session
Target audience: Families and general public
Experience fee: 600 NTD per person
