2026 Hou-chuang Philharmonic - Midsummer Movement Wind Ensemble Achievement Concert
【Excellence in Legacy, Miaoli's Wind Music Pioneer】
Hou-chuang Elementary School Wind Ensemble was founded in 1992 (ROC year 81) and has been deeply rooted in grassroots music education for over thirty years. With the strong support of the school and the parents' support association, the ensemble has repeatedly won championships in Miaoli County music competitions in recent years and has achieved excellent results in national competitions. Since 2017 (ROC year 106), the ensemble has performed multiple times at the Miaobei Arts Center. It is not only a core feature of Hou-chuang Elementary School but also a key indicator of wind music development in Miaoli County.
【Midsummer Feast, A Symphony of Cross-Genre Melodies】
This achievement concert, themed "Midsummer Movement," features a carefully arranged program of pieces spanning classic and modern music. The performance format is rich and diverse, showcasing not only the ensemble's powerful collective sound but also including multiple instrumental ensembles such as brass, woodwind, and percussion groups. The repertoire covers classic animation, passionate anime soundtracks, and popular film and TV theme songs, demonstrating the wind ensemble students' interpretive abilities and training results across different musical styles.
