Wind and Silk & Bamboo – A Musical Dialogue Between East and West

The Siegfried Philharmonic Wind Orchestra will combine a wind band with a silk and bamboo Chinese orchestra to initiate an in-depth musical dialogue between East and West. The concert will perform works like a wind band adaptation of "The Butterfly Lovers" that showcase Chinese cultural imagery, and will feature newly commissioned compositions, offering the audience a novel musical experience that blends Eastern and Western sounds.
