War Requiem

"War Requiem" is an experimental classic by British avant-garde film pioneer Derek Jarman. Presented in a wordless form, the film blends newsreel footage from World War I with images of the Hiroshima atomic bombing, and is based on the poems of Wilfred Owen and the choral work of composer Benjamin Britten.
