The Photo From 1977 is a film set in 1970s Taiwan, following Fan Hsien-ying, an aspiring photographer who cannot read, as she navigates her bond with childhood friend Lee Hong-guo and a Korean Taekwondo coach, Kim Ho-hee, amid political turmoil. Directed by Phil Tang and Frank Cheng, this feature is selected for the 2026 Taipei Film Festival, offering a poignant look at youth, dreams, and awakening through the lens of a single photograph.
