"Universal Gravitation" Yi Xiang Tian Kai Wind Ensemble 2026 Annual Concert

GRAVITY is the 2026 annual concert of the Yi Xiang Tian Kai Wind Ensemble, conducted by Liu Yu-min, making its debut at the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying). Inspired by the cosmos and human connection, the program features film classics, symphonic masterpieces, and world premieres, including the newly commissioned work "Universal Gravitation" by composer Arno Kuei-Jen Pan, as well as Taiwan premieres of "E.T. Flying Theme" and "The Planets: Mars, the Bringer of War" in wind ensemble arrangements. This immersive musical journey harnesses the power of brass, woodwinds, and percussion to evoke the vastness of the universe and the profound ties that bind us.
