Traditional Instrumental Music Class for Pan-Facial Tattoo Ethnic Groups: Introduction to Pgagu Wind Instrument Playing and Tatuk Percussion
This course, centered on "Cultural Heritage × Contemporary Practice," combines two main learning pillars: the traditional instruments of the Pan-Facial Tattoo ethnic groups—the "Headhunter's Flute Pgagu" and "Wooden Xylophone Percussion." Through systematic instruction, it guides participants from understanding the cultural context, basic playing techniques, and rhythmic auditory training to ensemble arrangement, gradually building teaching skills that can be promoted in schools and communities. The course also incorporates the spirit of Orff music education, using rhythmic movement, sectional practice, improvisation, and layered ensemble design to enhance participant engagement and sense of achievement. The learning culminates in a final showcase (recorded or public performance) as an integration of learning, forming replicable teaching modules and local teacher seeds.
