[TICF26 Taipei International Choral Festival] Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, <i>Choral</i>

This performance is the grand finale event of the Taipei International Choral Festival, presenting Beethoven's immortal Symphony No. 9, <i>Choral</i>. Master Israeli conductor Eliahu Inbal will lead the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with the Thuringian Chamber Choir (Germany) and the Taipei Philharmonic Chorus to perform this monumental masterpiece that integrates Schiller's <i>Ode to Joy</i> and conveys the sublime ideals of humanity. The first half of the concert will feature the Thuringian Chamber Choir performing a cappella choral works by composers such as Homilius, Mendelssohn, and Mahler, serving as the prelude to the concert.
