Ten Transparent Speakers and a Cicada – Chung Yu-hao Solo Exhibition

Date: 2026-05-05 — 2026-06-25 Organizer: 鍾宇豪
The artist takes "sound objects" as the core, viewing sound as a behavioral existence that can continuously change within a field.
The three works are respectively "Pseudo-drip," "Noise Sea," and "Digital Cicada."
"Pseudo-drip" uses bounded random generation of sound rhythms to present sound as a generative process.
"Noise Sea" translates electronic background noise into natural perceptual experience, revealing how media constitutes nature.

"Digital Cicada" uses digital simulation to continuously generate cicada sounds, allowing sound to extend into the environment through computation.
Sound transforms, accumulates, and continuously generates across mediums and space. This exhibition reconsiders nature, making it a state where sound, technology, and perception intertwine. Sound continuously occurs in space, generating relationships through change, forming a self-operating state.
