Talasay no kapah no Tolan -- Amis Warrior Headdress
Following the learning from the 114-year-old warrior's seven-color pants full-weaving course, there has not yet been instruction on the warrior's hat. In the past two years, Amis weaving courses have been successively offered in the department, covering the warrior's belt and the full weaving of the warrior's seven-color panel pants. Currently, as there is no comprehensive instruction for making a complete set of Amis warrior hat accessories, this course aims to teach participants to learn and extend their weaving skills to create accessory hats. While establishing local traditional culture, it is hoped to foster autonomous learning, creation, and exploration based on traditional culture to enhance participants' exploration of the skills and cultural knowledge belonging to our Amis heritage. Through a collaborative learning approach, the goal is to promote the distinctive culture of indigenous peoples by transforming Amis weaving into the art of making headdresses and fashionable belts.
