Contemporary art (oil painting, ink wash, calligraphy, media) is not just exquisite technique, but the embodiment of emotion, will, and systems of thought. Everyone must construct their own methodology for creative vocabulary. Methodology is merely a means, not an end. Quality should be jointly constructed from three aspects: 1. the capacity of technique, 2. the clarity of historical perspective, and 3. the experiential measure of life.
