'Symbols, Games, and Messages' - Kurtag 100 Taiwan Tour Concert
The Hungarian composer Gyorgy Kurtag is 100 years old~ Facing this master of contemporary music, fans may only know his name, but not often hear his music. Therefore, at this very special moment, TimeArt Studio specially invites Kurtag's friend Michael Denhoff to Taiwan, to celebrate Grandpa Kurtag's birthday together with Taiwanese composers and performers.
Kurtag's music is known for being short and powerful, full of childlike fun while balancing sensibility and artistry. In this concert celebrating Kurtag's 100th birthday, the German composer Denhoff and Taiwanese composer Tung Chao-min each use their own creations to echo the master's music, forming this program of up to 16 works.
